The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

In the spirit of the "rebroadcasting"/secret 2nd season of Haruhi Suzumiya airing in the months to come I decided to read the novel and watch the original show again to get myself back in the mood. After Welcome to the N.H.K. and Nodame Cantabile I haven't really watched anything besides Total Drama Island...which I wouldn't consider an anime (LOL). Oh...I have watched School Days...I'll talk about that later. Besides that I posted the links if you ever want to watch any of the series.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...Season 2 unsuspected start!

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Season 2 - Watch the First Episode!

Interesting, loveable Haruhi. Damn broadcasting companies messing around in Japan making things more difficult. I'm just ridiculously happy season 2 has officially started.

Also in celebration, you should watch The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya!

E3 Anticipation!!

With E3 being just a little over a week away I thought I would post up some of my most anticipated games that I hope will be previewed at the show.

Project Trico - PS3
From the same studio who did Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, only someone who has played those games can properly appreciate and understand what they are capable of when watching the only footage of it.

Half-Life: Episode 3 - PC
I'm not really expecting this game to be previewed at all, but the PC could use a little boost in hype before Games Convention and Blizzcon. No details have been given of this game, but after seeing the end of Episode 2 I've never been more excited about kililng aliens since the end of Halo 2.

Bayonetta - PS3/Xbox 360
From the majority of the team that created Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Madworld, and upcoming Inifinite Line this game is being directed by former Devil May Cry creator, Hideki Kamiya. This footage couldn't make me more excited this fall. The extreme action genre will be well served.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 - PS3/Xbox 360
I never thought a game could truly have a good view on politics. Then I played Beyond Good and Evil and took a bunch of pictures of creatures. The game also makes you love the main characters and I wasn't setting the bar that much higher for next game's graphics until the rumored footage of the game came out. Could it be fake? Why make it then? Though Ubisoft said it wouldn't be talking about B&G2 this E3, I'm still crossing my fingers.

DJ Hero - PS3/Xbox 360
I definitely didn't care too much about this game, but I guess since it was part of the "Hero" franchise I just assumed it was just more saturation into the music genre. After reading the preview articles and seeing the new peripheral I've gotten extremely excited for this game. Knowing that Activision will undoubtedly start coming out with five DJ Heros a year, I want to play this one before all that happens. I can't find any picture of the entire DJ turntable so here is a partial image.

Modern Warfare 2 - Ps3/Xbox 360
If you've played Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare then you're either inlove with the Campaign mode, or you've played the multiplayer for hours. I skipped Cod5: World at War because that team doesn't deliver what I like, but Inifity Ward is definitely delivering and after reading the previews, I'm excited.

Other games I'm anticipating, but don't really care about it having too many previews at E3 are Final Fantasy XIII, Starcraft 2, BlazBlue, King of Fighters 12, Call Of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Red Dead Redemption, Inifinite Space, Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2:Among Thieves, Castlevania, God of War 3, and Monster Hunster Freedom Unite. Maybe I'll post about them later. ^_^

ICO 3: The Queen News. Done.

I know I usually don't like to blog about game news that isn't official yet, but how can I resist when it's about next ICO project? eh eh?! I mean all we've been fed in the past 14 months is one stupid teaser image and the name of the project. The rumor site Playstation LifeStyle has just posted up an article discussing a video posted along with it. Not too sure about the reliability of the author or site, but after watching the footage one can assume it might actually be official. Lets hope more is revealed at E3 in June. I'll be posting ^_^.

Click me. I am cool video link.

Capcom is still <3

Just when Capcom surprised us that even they don't have to own Marvel to negotiate the re-release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but they've proven they can negotiate any rights as Tatsunoko vs Capcom has been announced for localization in North America. There have been rumors going around, but Capcom has confirmed so via Twitter (LOL) and it's Unity Blog. There is still one more game Capcom is hiding from us for its E3 line-up but at this point I wouldn't mind it if it was just another Resident Evil for the Wii.

What have I been up to...

Super busy lately. Finishing up finals had me studying a bit as did applying to a new college. If you must know what I have been playing and watching then It'd probably disappoint you to know that I am still playing Final Fantasy 6 and watching Nodame Cantabile. Reading a lot of Dragon Ball manga though!
