Achievement Unlocked and Uncensored

Many gamers and journalists agree that a major change that Microsoft brought to the gaming world wasn't graphics or technical greatness, but the simple satisfaction of achievements. For years gamers would struggle for hours playing games with beating them as the only goal in mind. Seeing the end credits was all they needed. Now in this new era gamers can unlock achievements on their Xbox 360 and show off their gamerscore to their friends. The idea was so revered that Sony has even mimicked this idea with their trophy system on the PS3.

Craig Harris recently reported on IGN about this wonderful game called Achievement Unlocked where you play as a simple blue elephant in a room full of death. A fun parody on achievements you may chuckle at first, but once the realization of addiction kicks in you will discover how important the achievement system truly is to Microsoft. You may also catch of glimpse of how "achievement whores" feel whenever they play a game.

Update: Play the game for free right here!

Ugh...this world in which we must show everyone every thing we've ever done...I can't even complain because I know I do it with other things...
