What games do I game? Weekly T_T

Dear Sam,
I am a huge fan of your blog and have always wondered what games do you play every week while writing your fantastic material and dealing with your manga?

Love, Rihanna

There you have it folks. Let the first weekly "What games do I game?" begin!

-I've been playing a few rounds of Ninjatown with full intent to beat it. My business ninjas shall overcome all!

-Finally got a chance to sit down and play the Halo Wars demo. I was at first impressed by the visuals and mechanics until it occurred to me that it really is just a dumbed down version of Starcraft. It's too easy and simple minded so stick with PC if you want to play an RTS. If you really like Halo though...go for it.

-I honestly attempted to at least beat a stage this week on "Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?", but to no avail. I've very proud of my 2D platforming skills but putting my PSP next to my cat and crying on him would probably have the same result as actually trying to beat this game.

-Other noteworthy games played are Street Fighter 4, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Capcom vs. SNK 2, and Peggle Extreme. I still love honing my fighting skills and what's wrong with a little manly ball action here and there?

So what games have you been playing?

Rihanna so loves you. Especially because you don't hit her like her boyfriend does. Did I just write that? Too late I'm leaving it. Also:

what games do you play ever week

Tell Rihanna to have her publicist check her spelling before she sends things out. You play games "every" week.

You know what I've been gaming and it's all your fault. Or it's mine for having a serious weakness for Fire Emblem. I'm trying to figure out what features have expanded on, since this version for the DS is a remake of the original for the NES.

A big plus in the Fire Emblem experience (at least for me) was support conversations between the units. The cast of Fire Emblem is often huge—it is about an army after all—support conversations allows you to get to know your team and change their endings sometimes! Support conversations also secretly boosts some of the character's stats. What gets boosted depended on who they talked to and what they talked about. I've yet to get any...

One thing is certain, they didn't skimp on the tactics in this version. I'm mad because I'm on a map where you're split up from part of your team. It's been a little touch and go as I just got about five new units automatically that I've never used before. As you know I refuse to lose any characters, even ones I don't like. There is no Phoenix down in Fire Emblem, once they're gone, they're gone.

I'm trying to sneak some game play in between preparing for a wedding shower. I only seem to have time for handhelds lately. All my platform games are either rotting away. If they made a good handheld fighter, you'd be done for.

(This post is very reader inclusive. Here is a forum to learn a bit about you, and express my own opinion. I don't know if you planned this already or if it was a response to my comment but good show!)
